Prediksi Customer Retention Perusahaan Asuransi Menggunakan Machine Learning

The application of data mining technique currently is widely used in supporting business activity, especially for insurance company which has to analyze a big number customer data. predict its new acquisition as well maintain existing customers. This paper focused on how we support companies, PT. XYZ, their customers’ characteristics using the best algorithm technique. research aims and find optimal patterns many customers will extend policies, not. We also explore retention rate discovering solution company. applied 4 different algorithms were applied, i.e. vector machine algorithm, decision tree, k-NN, random forest comparing results finding better solution. From analysis, found that provides predicting status policy extension current customers, with an accuracy 91.08% AUC value 0.962. result quite good PT could be enhanced future by applying strategy increase renewal ratio.
